THE PRACTICE:

The Casterton/Coleraine Medical Service is a successful amalgamation of two long established practices. The practices service a population catchment of approximately 9,000 people, with sessions being provided to the townships of Casterton, Coleraine, Dartmoor, and Balmoral. Coleraine / Casterton Medical Service require a General Practitioner or General Practitioner couple to work with the Casterton / Coleraine Medical Service with a view to partnership.

This is an ideal opportunity to live the country lifestyle and enjoy the work of a quality community general practice.

This practice is supported by four fulltime vocationally registered General Practitioners who are able to offer supervision and support to international medical graduates who are new to the Australian health system. Several years ago Coleraine Medical Centre amalgamated with the Ulster Medical Clinic of Casterton to become Coleraine Casterton Medical Services.

This arrangement has created an ideal opportunity for a supportive general practice model in which coverage, education and annual leave arrangements can be sustained between the practice members to a level conducive to a quality lifestyle.
