The Clarendon Medical Centre is a well established fully accredited computerised medical centre providing medical services for almost 15 years to the Maryborough community and surrounding small rural townships. The practice is situated close to the local shopping centre and hospital, and has easy access to the local pharmacies. All services are close for the doctor and the patients. Although the building is not owned by the practice all equipment is owned by the Management Company. The facilities include 8 modern consulting rooms, fully computerised, 7 treatment rooms with the capabilities of managing fractures, small procedures, ECG’s and spirometry’s and management plans. The practice offers training for Medical Students in conjunction with the Monash University. The Clarendon Medical Centre is currently supported by five experienced, vocationally registered general practitioners. The GPs are supported by a practice manager, administration assistant, five receptionists, one Div 1 nurse and two Div 2 nurses. GPs in Maryborough apply to the Maryborough and District Health Service for VMO and admitting rights and share the oncall and afterhours arrangement with the other group practice within the town on a rostered basis.

CLINIC HOURS ARE:
8:30am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday. After hours and weekend cover is on a roster system with clinics being held on Saturdays between 9am to 12pm and Sunday between 10am to 11am. This is alternated with the other group group practice within Maryborough. After hours and weekend cover is on a roster system. An additional benefit is that after-hours calls are diverted to the West Vic Division of General Practice - After Hours Triage Service five days a week to enable calls to be screened.
